Company layout and important “start-up” factors.

Introduction

Artist match will revolve around the idea that artists of all types can have easy access to the music society regardless of their résumé. Since we are dealing with an idea which is strictly web based we find it necessary to separate the process and projections into 3 sections to be able to identify which statistic strategies would suit it best.

“3 Three part “ investigation method

1.Start up- Since we are web based it is important to make a good first impression throughout the music networking online community. The interest of sponsors may amplify our range of public communication and would help us begin an advertising platform for the company. Tests:

 1) This section would involve the probabilities of small music linked companies, online or offline, that would be willing to lay out a basic advertising platform for self promotion.

2)A survey amongst already established music forums and blogs should give us an idea of musician’s willingness to 3)Pay for the service/network 4) Use the network 5) “spread-the-word”? These tests will lay down a simple plan to be able to determine our future site traffic and initial generated traffic.

2.Development: Once we start generating steady traffic we will have to begin development and refinement of not only the web site but also the business plan at hand. Once the networking and advertisement schedule is reached we would look to begin refining our advertising relationship with bigger more prestigious sources, preferably instrument companies like Yamaha, KORG and Roland or big music stores seeking to promote themselves and maybe even offer discounts and offers, which would be a win-win situation as a whole. We would also have to begin to develop our site technology, easy accessibility and layout in order to maximize our consumer satisfaction and facilitate the use of our site as much as possible. When dealing with a huge industries like music and networking it is evident that there will be large variability factors throughout consumer tastes.

Tests:

Business Side
Since it would be near impossible to culminate a group of big companies and present them with a survey, we could take advantage of the online music community and do a survey amongst respected musicians and fuse it with a survey amongst experienced entrepreneurs, that would test if individuals believe in future investment and exposure (ignoring biased assumptions). We believe this will help us reach an equilibrium to determine company propensity to invest, and estimate overall attractiveness.

Consumer Side
We would continue carrying out surveys amongst online musicians only concentrating more in their personal opinions about the web sites functions and services offered, giving rise to a sophisticated, artistic and innovative online network. A) Profile account information – Is a musician willing to receive instant contact with other musicians worldwide – Are musicians prepared to network with rankings and “trophies” that state success levels and level of general industry involvement (that would be determined by the site, with systems similar to Facebooks “I like” options). – Would an artist prefer seeking connections online, through a refined category list and location filters, - or would an artist prefer signing up and receiving “matches” information through a site engine relieving the user of having to search themselves, as well as giving them a type of mail service within the actual site.
